this is not the correct forum for posting this but anyways a higher frequency reduces screen flickering, but setting the value too high could result in damage to your monitor

Make sure to set it in your properties to only let you change it to things your monitopr can handle. then set it as high as possible. will reduce Eye strain.

i use 90 HZ...plus if you have it that high, you cna take vids of your monitor wihtout that annoying line going up and down becasue of the refresh.
