I must simply say AWESOME, my speakers instantly sounded 100% on what they used to with my onboard... (Krajan ALC855)

I have the X-530 speakers and am planning on some Klipsch possibly, atleast if i can find them in AUS anyway... i guess my main question here is What type of speakers should i get to match this sound card??

I know the Logitech Z-5500D are good for it, but i really want Sound Quality over volume...

I must also say the sound quality was stunning, highs being soo much more crisp, lows much deeper, and mids much smoother, all around i must say if you want a Sound Card and don't mind spending a little bit of Cash BUY ONE OF THESE SUCKERS

Thanks
Try out the 24 bit Crystalizer in Entertainment mode

No they will not make your X-Fi shine.. they aren't good enough

HOWEVER... they will sound really nice, as the sounds card is better then the speakers so you will not have a "bottleneck" as such... heh!

Also tried the 24-bit Crystalizer in entertainment mode, i turned it on pretty much instantly... one of the first things i did was turn it on, of course i left it on

Will it still sound better than if I had a Audigy Soundcard?

or was I better off getting an Audigy for these speakers?

LOL, PC speakers make me laugh!!!

why not buy a half decent set of HiFi speakers and an Separate Amp?
Ive always used an amp and speakers since I got my first Commodore Amiga!
At the moment Im using a Pioneer VSP-200 Dolby Prologic coupled with a Naim Audio Nac92/Nap90 Pre/Power Amp to do the main LR
5 Speakers, No Sub!
I got me an Audigy4 (I know everyone prefers the 2 ) sounds great, specially if ya enable the EAX (Really turns up the positioning of sounds!)

umm because a half decent set of hifi speakers and a good amp costs around $500 if you want anything that provides a noticeable improvement over PC speakers and some of us wish to spend this money on something more worthwhile....like a new video card or processor?

Ok new stuff costs a bit,
U only need new speakers, you could check out ebay or local papers or what ever for a second user Amp!! Second User speakers are a bit of a grey area!
I got to replace the Focal Bass drivers in mine(£100 each)
