Thread Starter
Is there anyone can suggest me the mainboard for Pentium D 805...
With a reliable price and performance...and stable...

I need that to build a system to run video editing and gaming, and may a little overclocking....

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131566 $57
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128316 $93
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813135218 $114

All three of these would be nice, the 2nd one however has onboard video i didnt know if youd like that or not, but everything else about seemed like a good deal.

I would stay away from all 3 of those motherboards.
None of them will OC too well.

What do you guys think of the ASUS P5ND2-SLI for the 805?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131578

As a thought:
Remember that a heavily overclocked 805 is only going to be running on a FSB of 180MHz-200MHz (133MHz been stock). Would it really matter what M/B you used since a good over clocker isn't needed to get to 200MHz? Only concern is a M/B that provides stead power and a lot of it! (read Toms: http://www.tomshardware.com/2006/05/...es/page14.html )

Anyone out there tried O/Cing a 805 on a cheap M/B?

I'm thinking of getting the biostar TForce4U 775.
