*OFFICIAL* World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Discussion / Screenshot Thread - Page 8

I haven't played WoW in 5 years or so but while perusing the racks of walmart decided to say screwit and picked up the entire WoW experience just for the *****s and giggles of it. I would say that I hope it doesn't suck but millions of players can't all be wrong so I don't think it's an issue. I will say so far the patching has been pretty decent. Not maxing out my bandwidth but not to bad as it could be for such a huge release.

Looks like Athene is doing same as he did on WOTLK, glitching it all the way to 85.

Shame he isn't banned yet.

Good lord, it took me about 4 hours of questing in Hyjal just to get to 81. Granted all the quest-givers were mobbed with people on their mounts, and every enemy needed for a quest was camped to hell and back, but I got there lol.

Could any multi-GPU users provide their thoughts (in this thread or the following thread) regarding WoW's DX11 and multi-GPU scalability--especially at ultra resolutions (namely 2560x1600):

http://www.overclock.net/graphics-ca...600-world.html

Thanks!

Thanks!
I run this on max with 6048 1200 resolution (except sunshafts because they are like Metro 2033 DOF)

Also I am using a single 5970, not even clocked while playing WoW so it's pretty... weak.

My CPU is fully overclocked tho.. and the RAM! Since this game really doesn't care that much about GPU
