hey everyone

not really sure were to start but i will give you what i know.

Processor: Intel Mobile Pentium MMX 200mhz(exactly old)
Memory: 32MB (no other information)
Mainboard: no manufacturer or model available only;

Chipset: Intel i430TX
Southbridge: Intel 82371 (PIIX4)

*all available information coming from CPU-Z

again dont know much about laptops but if possible is there any way to get pass the password which is on the BIOS the laptop was given to me and the original owner doesnt know the password either

the computer manufacturer is called one of the following;

PSYSOFT Computer Products
Notebook Profession
Research Machines

sorry for the lack of information also if possible is there any PC CARDS (PCMCIA) which will add network accessibility to this laptop or give me a network adapter at all...

just assuming that the laptop is old the parts are cheap because of this just want to know if theres anyway of getting more out of this laptop.

Yes, you can buy PCMCIA cards to add network connectivity, but as for the password, there is no easy way to get around it, since its there to prevent people from hacking in to the computer. You would have to find out who made it, see if there still in business, and see if they will tell you.

You can try and wipe the CMOS - that clears passwords. It usually means completely dismantling it..which isnt an easy task, i can tell you.
