Thanks Big Val--a friend of mine thinks it would be good for LAN gaming--four tables with Crunch in the center--I'd have to go a lot bigger for those dual Vcards...but it would make more sense--at least they would have some fun instead of just work unit after work unit...

Allow me to make a suggestion. You should probably put some black tape or some other type of insulator on the wireless cards where they touch the Zalmans. That looks like it could be a disaster if those were to short out.

Crunch is in limbo--I have reached my build budget and am wating to be able to order different PSUs--I want to go with 4 modular supplies--I am dirching the USB idea because I want to use the quadra rigs eight cores for more than just Folding..call me greedy--but that's a lot of PC guts sitting there--and Crunch can do so much more than Work Units. I am toying with the idea of fitting 4 HDDs and 4 PSUs onto the back panel--a tight fit to be sure.

The Exact PSU I need is going to have only an exhaust fan mounted o the rear, be modular and have only a single 18-20A 12V rail. The plan is to mount the 4 PSUs on their 3.5" sides which is why having a fan on the 6" side will not work. I will only need one molex and the mobo power--hence the desire for modular--as I am not powering any other devices a dual rail PSU seems wrong--but if I canot find a modular single rail then that will do.

It would be neat to have HDDs with windows--but I think $300 per drive for the Raptor X is a little much...

Then I will have to factor in 4 copies of XP pro--so you can see I have toi put a lot more cash into an already expensive build--just going to have to wait.

I my power up to of the boards just to ge going--but I really want to do all four before calling it a done deal o this project.

Having that much hardware and not firing it up is frustrating--but not nearly as frustrating as burning it all up because I rushed ahead to quickly...

Crunch is far from over....much will be done before I call it a finished project--the cooling concerns as well as the power concernc--then there are also switching concernc--little details that I want to get sorted.

Thanks for asking

The Silverstones are not cutting it

There is a MIB deal on the OCZ modstream 450W (Single 26A 12V rail)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817104154

The Modstream would be the only PSU I could find that I would consider given your specs (modular, single rail).
