I wish I could have all 4 mobos mounted like the one, with the HDD incorporated into the mounting. Not entirely pleased with 3 HDDs just sitting on top like that..but it works (and lets the HDD heat escape without adding to the case temps)

I will not stop until Crunch looks like an innocuous piece of furniture...

Talk about a tight fit...4 complete rigs in a 12" x 12" x 15" case is tight...most builders would think that is about right for one mobo...LOL

Well I well start the process of hosting up the pictures...be patient...
I have a idea for your cable problem. Cut them off and put some stoppers on 'em (I think they're called stoppers)

Considering that's over $500 for 4 OEM copies I wanted to make sure this was gonna work first.

CyberD doesn't advocate piracy,,,,Yaaaaaaaaaar

EDIT: Nnijas are way 1337r than Pirates
If they even was illegal, then i didn't really care.
But still, it's better to hear that you're legal than illegal.

Looks awesome!

I can understand about the whole XP issue- I will be buying yet again another version of Windows to power my CNC rig...

Yeah I tried and tried to get a linux distro to work, and honestly I got frustrated and gave up..I tried DSL, Knoppix, Mandrake, Ubuntu and on the mobos I am using none of them would load properly...I do not hace the skillz to even know where to begin to tweak those distros to run on my rigs...they run on the older hardware (K8NSpro, P4P800SE, P4SDX) but not on the ECS R410-800m or the Asus P5LD2-VM...

I was even willing to pay somebody to put a Distro togetheron a USB Flash Drive...but no takers.

Ideally, considering they are Folding Rigs, I would think a USB drive would do it...

I still have hopes that might be the case...but it took me almost a year to get this far...LOL I fear learning Linux might add a decade tot hat.

And that, my friends is why XP is still worth $140--it loads on there and works (kinda).

I watched Ubuntu get 92% installed 3 times yesterday...so I am not going to beat my head against the wall over it.

Last week I spent at least 5 hours trying to get Ubuntu to load from USB drive...

Last month I tried to make a bootable distro of DSL (knoppix) to no avail.

I just don't get it...but I will.

I bet you could even contact them, send ur USB devices, tell them the hardware, and what software you want on it, and they will probably do it. I mean, they did create the distro...

My gut feeling why Linux is throwing fits is the onboard video. Is there any specific file/driver it hangs on?

Yep..it hangs while attempting to load the Linux Floppy Drive Module. I disabled floppy in BIOS and it still hung.

Thanks for the links Drummer--I will contact them and see.

Cam is charged, but I am parenting ATM so no chance to load pics...soon!

Mmm floppy ?!?!? I wonder what the next file is ... maybe it loads the floppy ok, but then crashes on the next one.

Odd...
