I used some electrical tape on my comp too,Good idea. Btw if you pull it long ways instead of going around it has a more smooth look. I'll post pictures if you want me too.(might take some time.)

Man, anyone can mod. Just look at your computer, think of something totally random, like i dunno, an ashtray drive or cigarette holder thing you can make with an old drive. Did you know that some highlighters are actually uv reactive? I dunno, im sure you can think of something.

All the green electrical tape I've found has been..."forest green." The green contractors tape is like..."wowzerz green." Feel free to correct me.
If you are talking about the tape they use when surveying it is not sticky. I am sure you can find a way to make it stay wrapped tight though. As for where to find it? Google gave me this: Gemplers.

I think it would be cool, if you had central heating and air that is, to take off the bottom of your comp and set it on top of it, only during the summer of course, for superior cooling.. Would that actually work?

Yes it does--I put my PC right beside the AC vent and when the air is on the temps are down--gonna put Crunch right over a floor vent...lol

Like the colored tape--I have tried that as well--I also tried using a bazillion uv reactive wire ties equally spaced--and auto sheathing (both the spiral and split kind) they make a tranlucent white spiral wrap that would look good with some EL wire under it...

I own (or used to own ) the URL ghettomodz.com .net .org--always thought that would be a cool BB blog site.

Looks a lot better K

Ok, everyone remembers those lamps at the tourist traps they went to as a child? You know the ones that you can touch and would turn on if you touched them? How exactly do those work? It would be flipping sweet if you could like touch a certain part of your computer and it would turn on. I dunno, just an idea.

rather have a massive über sensitive light switch. Just keep a thin metal plate right under it, and two wires 1-2mm down from it. When the thing is moved down 2mm then it short circuits these two switches which then turn the lights on. Then you can work on modding this switch, maybe makin it UV reactive and slappin on some UV leds glowing at it from the backside (half transparent).. drool.

BTW if you wanna check out my cheap case mod for about 30$ check my profile pic.
