What are your temps?

What utility are you using to stress test?

What do you consider stable?

32idle. around 80 on load.

Using OCCT to stress test.

Running OCCT 1round for 1hr. Then restart PC and run it while I sleep and stop it when i wake. Which is more than 8hours. Realises that most of the time when the first round passed the test, it might not pass the second time.

Leave the OCCT for now. 1 hour should be stable enough, but I want you to run 20 loops of IBT on maximum memory and post back results.

With that heat, you'll be limited to ~1.4vcore. So basically, where you're at now.

What Bclk are you running? Have you tested for your max stable bclk with a low multi?

Currently at 181BCLK. To test Max stable bclk should i set my voltage to auto? or 1.4v?

And 1 more thing. When you guys test for stability, you guys just run all the programs you guys are running and test, or you all will go to msconfig and disable all startups before testing?

When overclocking, never set your vcore to auto. Never ever. Your motherboard MIGHT set the voltage way too high and fry your chip.

Your max stable Bclk is largely determined by your board. You need to figure out how high you can go.

Keep your vcore at 1.4v, and drop the multi to 10.

Raise your bclk 5mhz, check your ram divider and test.

Stress test your system without altering Msconfig. Run 3 programs while you stress test:

CpuZ - to monitor your bios settings had changed
OCCT - to run the stress testing software
RealTemp - to monitor your core temps

If it passes your OCCT test, restart. Go into bios, and increase bclk 5mhz more. Check ram divider. Repeat test.

Keep going until you reach your max stable bclk.

You will get the 124 bsod. When you do, add 1 step of vtt voltage. Don't go above 1.4v.

When you're no longer stable, have reached 1.399v on vtt, back off 2mhz and test again.

Doing this, you can figure out how much 'wiggle' room you have. You might find a higher bclk and lower multi is more stable for you, at less voltage (as I have).
