anyone who has who of these x850xts, whats the highest settings you have reached? with just stock cooling/fan at 100%, and are the guru drivers better than the ati catalyst?

My flashed GTO2 can go as high as 600/600, but I have it at 570/600 because it tends to get too hot. This is with an AC Silencer and some AS5. I don't think you will get too far with the stock heatsink. Maybe if you add some AS5. I'm guessing around 560-580 on the core and maybe as high as 580-600 on the memory.
I have had better experiences with the ATI official drivers. Warcat drivers are okay, but the Omega ones always make my computer crash.

With stock cooling the highest I can get my x850xt that is rock solid stable it 549 core 606 mem this is using ATI tool and overclocking it myself. I can take both the core or the mem higher individually but that is the best combination of both that I can get. I have been playing all my games on this setting for weeks and have never had any problems.

I reached 600/625 last night with updated drivers (Omega based on catalyst 6.3 I believe). It was reporting artifacting, but I couldn't see it. I bet it could be pushed a little higher without any noticable artifacting. Runs CS:S and DoD:S at very high FPS w/ max settings (1280x1024). I think I was getting around 110 most of the time, 80 during very intense scenes. I'll post when I test CoD2 tonight.

Edit: reported artifacting when pushed farther, not at those settings. Stock cooling btw. Working on lowering ambient temp by modifying case fan settings for my HP.

545core 565 mem on my 850 Pro w/16pipes anything past that gives me artifacts after hours of play.

You guys with those insane numbers have you played a game like oblivion for hours on end without even an artifact?

I have a ATI silencer and I never get over 45C.
