LEAKING Radiator!

Thread Starter
I was refilling my system and changing out my radiator's fan and when I tipped it over and pinched one of the hoses I got a steady drip from inside part of the raditor. It was not coming from the barbs - they were bone dry. Not sure what is up - but im rma'n it back to frozencpu. FYI it was a coolworks radiator - not the best quality in the world....

Anyone know a high quality double 120 radiator I can upgrade to. Also anyone know where I can get metal barbs?

Im looking at the triple black ice on jab tech for $70 - it comes with metal fittings. Im going to set the raditor on top of the case. Should I lift it up to get good airflow? Ill have fan pulling air.

Well I chickened out and just got a single black ice to replace this cheap ass rad. I just can't bring myself to cut into my case for the tubes to go outside. Plus I dont think that I will yield that much better temps by having a double rad...

Get a Bonneville heatercore without A/C from an auto parts store for 20 bucks and put the right barbs on for your size tubes.

I think is a 78 Bonneville?

I'm not sure on the year, It's eluding me right now.

I think the only reason i wont get a heatercore is because of the look of them. I know I can paint it - but I have yet to see someone "pretty" one up.

I painted mine and it looks dandy

also, you dont have to cut through the case...just take out one of the unused PCI slot coverings and build a bracket to hold the rad...thats what i did
