A8n32 overclock settings!

Hi!

what are the settings, on the A8N32, that you enable/disable when you overclock. Like a ''lock'' settings if you want. ex: cool n quiet = always disabled. What are your suggestion???

I have cool n quiet enabled. My voltage set at 1.5, my Freq set at 255, my multiplier set at 10, my PCIe set at 103mhz. And am stable at 2.50 GHz and almost stable at 2.55 GHz. I havent had much luck with my memorry because I havent installed the corsir 500mhz yet. I am still running using cheap ram. Here are my last stable CPUz numbers.

CPU:
Vcore 1.536v
core speed 2543.1MHz
Multiplier: 10
HTT 254.3 MHz

Mem
freq 211.9 MHz
FSB CPU/12
CAS 2.5
RAS 3
Cycle 7
bank cycle 19
dram 16
command 2T

Let me send you a link from another chain where I was asking some questions about overclocking our same CPU/MOBO combo. Some of these guys have gone up past 2.6...

Mr-p is asking about the A8N32-SLI
Sdumper, you have the A8N-SLI.

I'm sorry, but they have different bios and settings available, i.e. not the same.

I always set the Ai Overclocking(under jumper-free config) setting to manual. That way I can change the fsb to whatever I want. As far as cool n quiet goes, I usually like to leave it enabled. However, when I want to manually control my volt and CPU multiplier, I must disable CnQ.

This is from memory (I'm @ work)

Cool & Quiet: Disabled
- I use C&Q for everyday web browsing, but when you turn it on, it controls your VCore so you'll never go higher than 1.4 with it on. The best I can get with C&Q is 2.53 (230x11)

AI Overclocking: Manual
CPU FSB Freq: <set your FSB here (ie 200, 210, 230)>
SB to NB Overclock: Manual
Adjust PCIE Frequency: 100
PEG Link mode : DISABLED (or your HTT speed will affect your PCI-E cards; you don't want that. Better to OC the Video with ATITool or CoolBits2)
Over-Voltage CPU VCORE: Disabled (unless you need a boost of volage. realize that if you enable this, and set your VCORE to 1.4 or something, you'll really be at 1.6 and you probably won't boot without water cooling)
Over-Voltage NB VCORE: Disabled (Same goes here, only use Over-Voltages if you need to and have the cooling)
Over-Voltage SB VCORE: Disabled (My god, why?)
Over-Voltage HyperTransport: Disabled (Unless you're trying to run the HT faster than 1000Mhz, ie FSB:230 + K8 to NB:5x = 1100Mhz; once again cooling cooling cooling)
DDR VCORE: Auto (unless you're OCing your ram, you can always change it here, 2.7 is pretty safe, 2.8? not as safe)
FID/VID Change: Manual
Processor Frequency Multiplier: 11x (10x if you want to OC your Mobo more than the CPU)
Processor Voltage: 1.425 (up this value for more stability AND more HEAT)
DDR Clock Skew: Auto (does anybody know how to use this??)

That's it for now; more later if I have time
