the Opty dual core will enable you to run a game on one core and anything else in the background on the other core.

Opty for me. There's just no good reason to put a single core instead of a dual core in any new build, unless you're going with a completely bread-and-water budget box.

How about we see some back to back performance comparisons here... instead of touchy-feely name loyalty I wanna see some hard numbers! And whoever said they'd rather have a 2.6 opty instead of a 3.0 sandy... the games and the OS aren't programmed to even USE dual core yet, are they? Last I heard they weren't. Yeah. I wanna see some digits. Some performance tests. Benchmarks. Enough talk, let's see who's really the toughest!
