3DMark03 Low scores..!!??

Thread Starter
Ok, I ran 3DMark03 about 3 times and got a pretty low score compared to similar systems.. i got 8431 whe others systems with same vga get around 15000+. I am using WinXP Pro 64 bit, with tha latest drivers. The drivers are Non WHQL - Not FM Approved, maybe this is why my scores are low? I ran 3DMark03 with WinXP Pro 32 bit and had similar scores to the ones I now have, a lil better actually! I can't remember if my drivers (on WinXP 32bit) were WHQL - FM Approved ... The CPU scores seem fine compared to others, but i guess the gpu is the one giving me problems. I play BF2 and it look pretty good, all on med/high. The vga is not OC, just the CPU @ 2.6ghz.. If I make any sence, can anyome help me out? ....thanks....

To me it seems like a normal score for that card, look at this review @Tom:

That seems about right. I get a little over 15,000 with my 7600GT. Maybe you're thinking of 3DMark 2001.

If you want higher scores, you can try different versions of Bios

The guy that you linked to was using 2 cards in SLI most likely. Your score is well within the range of normal. A single 6600gt can get nowhere near the 15,000 mark in 3dmark03.

Yeah, it makes sence. I just read the title of the guy's Project "A8N-SLI Premium AMD 3500 6600GT SLI OCed 325 FSB" and i gues the SLI part actually means SLI , duh !! . My bad, noob mistake , thank you guys for the help...
