Eh. Everyone trying to fit everything in their hand. Unnecessary, if you ask me.

Meh...I used to use a Palm pilot but that got old and I got a Dell 700m, almost as small as that thin (not really)

Now I heard that there might be some versions that will be converted to be used as a cell phone. If that's the case, then I might be interested, but I do not like the 4-5 hour battery, which will not be good for cell phone use

Really you guys are far behind, its not called origami anymore either, its a UMPC

Quote:
Samsung is set to officially launch its Q1 UMPC in the US on May 1, with an event in San Francisco. We're assuming (or at least hoping) that this will be a real launch, with an announcement of pricing and availability (Samsung has already launched the Q1 in Korea, with a price of about $1,200).

Quote:
Starting on May 7th, early-adopters will be able to pick up a Q1 -- along with all the high-profit-margin accessories -- at Best Buy's e-tail location for $1,100
Source: Here

And will run XP

Samsung, Asus, and Founder will manufacture UMPCs based on Intel microprocessors. PaceBlade Japan (PBJ) announced a UMPC, known as the SmartCaddie, that uses a VIA Technology chip. Samsung and Founder should have units available in the second quarter of 2006. Asus should be available shortly after that. A release announcement will be coming soon from PBJ. Some devices may not be available in all markets. Samsung has a demo with features and specs of their UMPC, the Q1. Go to their product showcase for Hannover, and click on the Ultra Mobile PC link on the right. Check out www.microsoft.com/umpc for updates on available UMPC hardware and specs.
asus, cool
