Well the sound fix didn't last long for me. Map switched, and the sound cut out again last night. Dammit.

No regrets here really. It is a great game, but in a category of it's own I think. I run into problems now and then, that are frustrating, but not enough to make me stop playing. Getting kills in this game is OH so satisfying.

I notice it more and more the more i watch gameplay videos. Kill look extremely satisfying and ragdoll motion and animations look top notch too.

Another pretty good review

Yeah, and the sounds are good too. I love to see the blood spray left on the wall behind people I kill, and the sound of the bullet hitting them. I used to mainly play BC2, and kills are (overall) a good bit more satisfying in this game. Of course it's also a much slower paced game, which adds to the great feeling of getting kills. I also have a lot of fun when I find a good place to mount my MG and am able to rack up a few kills in a short period of time.

I agree with everything you said. Despite the issues, RO2 is a really great game at its core.
Love the G41 on German Elite Rifleman!

Yeah I need to play as the Germans more; I've played them like once. For some reason, I started with the Russians and have stuck with them. Partially because now I can tell the difference between the two pretty easily so I don't get tks... Haha. Hard to train myself not to shoot the Germans as a German.

The Russian weapons don't seem to be quite as good as the German's, but I have gotten much better at using them the more I've played.

Been thinking about getting this game since I am bored of COD and BC2 and need somethin until BF3. The only thing is all the bugs people are having with it. I hate it when games wont work right. I deleted Dead space 2 after trying to get it to run and that game was free. So If I pay money for this game and I have issues I will end up getting mad and delete it as well and never bother with it again. I have wasted a lot fo money on games that ended up running poorly or because they are awful. I am someone who leans more to the COD style of play(No not tubing and camping) so I am not sure if this game will keep my attention.

Yeah... I would say that this game is pretty much the opposite side of the spectrum from COD. If you play mostly COD, I couldn't see you enjoying this game...

I'm downloading this game now through steam. This is pretty much my first FPS game I've played for the computer.

I'm mostly coming from COD series and love them. However, I'm very open minded and want to try something different. Got an hour till download is complete so I'll post back with my thoughts after I've played for a bit.

Really what makes it so different? I like BC2, is it anything like it?
