What is the difference between the ud5 and 7? I got a good deal on the 5, so i got it. I'm just wondering.

the UD7 has an NF200 PCi-E bridge for 2way and 3way SLI. The UD5 will do SLI, just not as well. Take the UD5.

Thanks Stasio, I just saw F7A with CPu PLL officially.

Love your kung fu.
Your review prompted me to join up.
My problem now is I am unable to link to specific clubs to hook up with people that share my interests, IE.
4GHz+/,Liquid cooling/,SSD,GA-X58 OCing (I implemented yours by the way, but found 4.2 sweet spot, I would be good there except, I would like to recover some RAM speed).
My last build was the AMD Intel killer (939 mobo with 4800 dual core). I'm new to Intel and my tweaking mojo is old. Ran the AMD for 5 years, it's still capable with 4g ram and sli with 7950GT cards. But I'm here for a reason, I've got the bug for performance.
Could you help direct me to your club and others you might think might interest me.
I've Raid 0 my cav black sat 3's in marvel controller.
I will sli, water cool then over clock my evga 560Ti Superclocked vga.
Will Raid 0 my Intel 2,5m 80g sata2 SSD
Go to PCIe bootable SS array.
The rest is in my cpuz if your interested.
Your review was better than any I could find, or maybe it was at a level I could understand and appreciate, regardless this sort of thing gets noticed and if you get hired/ sponsored, I would like to see what you do when given hardware to review.
Good Job.
Terry.

you are talking to me? I wrote teh review I am a littel confused

#1 is your system the one in the link you provided? This article is about the P67A-UD7 not the X58A-UD7.

There is a GB ud7 owners club link in my sig as well as the review on the X58A-UD5 rev 2.0 which is the same board as the UD7 rev 2.0

Thanks, yes this board was given to me to review.

Also this forums is very good for beginners.

I am new after all.
That is my X58 @ 4.2 (thank you verry much).
I had the P67-UD7, the Ci7 2600K, and vengance 16g kit for about one week, what a beautiful board, I had ordered Gold die and clear hose for my cooling loop and everything, I was all set for liquid aplication (waiting for new water block H clip), when the controller was reported as bad. I had to get out of it immediatly because some of my HD Raid stuff is for my buisiness data base. Broke my heart.
I had a Raptor raid 0 and got smart events constantly after running for only a phew days.
X58 is mature and lots of power so its OK.
1366 = big chip
1155 = smaller chip with integrated graphics controller (useless to us)
Do you think they will, after people move to and embrace the new kid, come out with a new big bad boy O lets call it a 1367 chip.
You know your stuff.
Respects.
Terry.
PS.
I'm here because of you.
(So it's all your fault)
