Yeah, I really need to get me a DSLR. The little crappy camera I have is "ok" but for specialized work, I really need better.

Anyway, have you seen these? This is what I'm thinking of getting my hands on once I get around to doing lighting in my main rig ...

And yes, the UD7 is a beautiful board.

I still regret selling mine...

I would probably enjoy mine more with a desktop CPU.

Ubuntu 12.10 installing.

I just got done uh... "installing" the H100 into the TC machine. I use that term loosely because its some ghetto rigged shenanigans. Doings some benching in windoze to see how far I can get it, it doesn;t seem to want to run above 4.5ghz on the GD55 where it made a solid 4.8ghz at the same volts on the Mpower. Disappointing.

Oh, that is disappointing. My h80's plastic cover on the pump is being held on by a rubberband. I know all too well of ghetto rigged shens.

Yeah its taking 1.325v to hit 4.5ghz where on my Mpower board with the same setup it was running 4.6 at 1.295v.

In other news, I still can't get that kernel running. Its installed but it keeps running 3.5.0.17-generic.

I'd say just let it fold for a bit. That does suck about the GD55 though, guess its time to get another MPower, lol.

Now that 12.10 is installed, I'm just going to leave it on the generic kernel for now, I want to compare my TPF vs my previous OS. On to installing Win 8.

Yeah I know but its making me SO ANGRY. It won't let me use BFS or the custom 3.5, even though they show up in the list. It also still won't let me into the grub menu when I boot holding shift. Weird. Oh well, I'm going to let it fold overnight on 6.34 so it scores a quick 10 WU.
