GPU took a dump again so I had to lower my clock. Even though I had KBoost on, it didnt help. With it off now, I am folding back around 400-600k and TPF is 00:01:07

Hmmm - I would take it back to stock clocks and work my way up 50Mhz every day until you figure out sweet spot redface.gif

Also, since Ryahn had been handing out badges and hats, this thread has got busier thumb.gif

BTW Ryahn, set your Folding Team Name to The Power Rangers thumb.gif You are the White Ranger thumb.gif

If you like one or another one, I can arrange a ceromony smile.gif

Also I cant wait for my water cooler for my 980, these temps are scaring me a little.

What's better than bunny ninja with a samurai helmet and sword? Nothing...

What are the straps for the next increase on a GTX 980 Ti core? That is a real question because I can't remember. Is it +13?

@Ryahn your temps are definitely limiting your OC. For maxwell, you will see best clocks if you can keep gpu <60c. Try going back to stock voltage which will help your temps and most likely you will be able to OC higher on air.

I already gave the throttling if it gets to hot talk.

So increase the clock by 13 when you want to go higher?

I also have the water cooler for the 980 coming in today.

Some cards with the stock bios are voltage locked or limited. When you add voltage it will bump up your core boost before you start to OC. That is why you should start with the stock clock and voltage and just increase the core.

I am having better success with using the v7 console. Keeps using my GTX 980 and is more responsive the client.

I will be updating my own stats spreadsheet on what clock works best for the best PPD.
