I will leave you today with one more shot of the finished dash.

dscn0532tm.jpg

I am so excited for this build to be all put together. This is going to be a slow week or more while I wait for paint to dry again, and again..........

In the maentime, all I have to keep me busy is figuring out a good system to support the pci cards that could go into the rig if I even decide to put in a pci card. I guess a wireless card would be convienient..

Until next time- you guys have a good one grouphug.gif

I've got a Williams 'Big Guns" pinball and its awsome. Its working about 90%. One of the lockable cannons just spits the ball right back out instead of holding it.
(We haven't worked on it for several months so i'm trying to remember lol)

Were not to sure whats wrong with the pinball machine. We replaced the CMOS, all the plastic connectors (some had been melted).

The test light (i think its called the U7) doesn't pass all the tests. Which leads us to believe that its the CPU.

Here's another quick update-

After work today, I finished touching up the paint on the lid and rear-side that were slightly damaged by peeling the masking tape. They are ready for clear coat now wink.gif

The other 2 pieces that I had to redo are still drying.

I need to paint the racing stripes, get a sticker or 2 remade, and clear coat all 4 remaining pieces then paint will hopefully be done wink.gif

I also got my pci card holder made today. Heres what I came up with, simple but very effective wink.gif

dscn0539b.jpg

dscn0546y.jpg

It keeps the cards nice and sturdy smile.gif the only thing I have to do differently from a regular case is put the cards in the slots first, then attach the holder. This holder is also another attachment point for the mobo, so I'm not worried about it coming loose at all now.

These next 3 pictures you can also see the wood psu cradle I made to prevent the psu from moving- I had to carve out a portion for the wires coming up from the underside of the base and router out a section on the bottom of the cradle to allow it to sit flush with the floor, as there were a couple pan head bolts where I chose to mount it.

dscn0551x.jpg

dscn0545e.jpg

dscn0547i.jpg

After getting to this point, I realized that the motherboard is too high up off the floor, and there wouldn't be enough breathing room for the cards exhaust. In addition, I would not be able to comfortably connect the monitor cable as the shelf that is going to hold the console/s sits right on top of the foot control panel. I lowered the standoffs down 1.5" and am good to go now.

I got some more done too, but it's late. I'll post some more tomorrow after I get home from work. cheers.gif
