thank you sir..in retrospect..whats the rest of the peeps here thaughts on this case..what would you change in this design if you could/wanted
post #72 of 194
I would say:
- fins flush with top of case.
- maybe an inch higher clearance inbetween top of mobo and case top (Or top radiator mounting point shifted closer to the front of the case to clear connectors when mounting rearest fan)

I'll get pic up tonight mate.

Ok so i managed to fit 2 x 120mm fans in pull...in the aerocool case ofcourse thumb.gif

Will post pics now!! (sucks the fans i got only had the 4 pin connectors and the leads were short as...if only i had some 4-3 pin adapters.)

Anyways it worked.

Only tool i used was a pair of side clippers.

wow..so why intake fan setup? why not exhaust?
how did yu remove the fins...for love of me i cant figure it out...
do the fan blades hit against the vents....

agrreed on yur ideas changes..same thaughts i said...plus support for three fan setup on top..like the top of a switch 810 ..no top grill..just open fan mounts..

Haha when i noticed i had them backwards i swapped them around. Now it's an exhaust with push on the other side of radiator and the top is pull. smile.gif

As for removing the fins you need to pressure the opposite side to the fin toggle switch and it flexes out.

No the blades do not hit against it.

Yeah man,

I would say probably only 1/3 of the way open. You definitely need those vents all the way open to have good airflow. Very minor mod job. biggrin.gif
