My 6970 Benchmarks

I purchased a sapphire 6970 card, i've installed it (using drivers off the disc) which are 10.11. I have Heaven Benchmark installed and I'm going to give you some tests.







Interestingly enough, the drivers on the disc are 10.11, I haven't upgraded to 10.12 yet, when I do so I will most likely test these same options again.

Sorry, I just noticed all the white space... oh well.

Regardless of what people are saying i'm happy I picked up the card. I upgraded from a Gtx 260, and I have massive amounts of performance increases when using AA for example. Very impressed with this card.

Could you run the settings from the top 20 Heaven benchmark thread? I'm debating if I should make the move from nvidia 470 sli to ati 6970 xfire. Thanks!

Absolutely, give me just a few minutes




I'm not sure if this is all a gpu simulation or not, but like my settings are all stock, including my Oc on my cpu atm. I didn't want any hitches installing this card.

Make sure you do the 10.12a hotfix drivers as it has finally support for 6970. No point doing 10.12 as it has only 6800 series support. 10.12a is what you need

Ill update my drivers now, as well as i'll run 3dmark, I just gotta go find it ;P

I've got to download 3dmark again from there website, Might take me a bit, but i'll update with results, also i'm installing the hotfix drivers.

Anyone know a good ati video card monitoring program? I used to used Evga precision with my nvidia, but its been so long since i've used ati i'm not sure anymore.

I'm in the process, i'll run my test on the same settings as the Nvidia card with the hotfix drivers, I was using 10.11 on my first run threw.
