A beautiful sight -- Asus Voltage Tweak GTX 580. Running at stock speeds right now as Dirt 2 and Black Ops (main two games I'm currently playing) don't come close to taxing this beast of a card. Though in tinkering when I first got it, I managed to hit 980MHz core and 1,100 Memory. No validation at this point though. Glad to be part of the club

I'm happy to be getting 14% gain on GPU and now 14% gain on my CPU thanks to overclock.net and those who post while others learn. Woot!
I have stock voltages and CPU is 3800MHz 24/7.
And Stable max OC 4.2GHz with 1.4V

So make it go higher

Hey guys,

I just got my Gigabyte GTX 560 in today and will have a proper GPU-Z validation in later but so far I'm loving the card.

I've upped the core and shader clocks up to 951 and 1902 respectively and am stress testing with OCCT but it's yet to break 70 degrees.

The fan is very quiet at idle and is far less obstrusive at heavy load than my GTX 275 was. I'm sure it'll be even quieter during normal load since OCCT is a sort of worst case scenario.

Splendid upgrade so far though.

Edit: If you could add me that'd be super.

Gigabyte GTX 560
Core: 951 (900 stock)
Shader: 1052 (1002 stock)
Memory: 1902 (1800 stock)

I had my EVGA GTX 570 for a while and I think I should join your club. Don't worry about my GTX 285 physx card, it only gets used with nvidia physx enabled software.
Core clock: 900 mhz @1075mV
No problems so far idles at 44c and loads at 72c. I left heaven benchmark on and all my games on for over 24 hours.

I got a really high 3dmark 11 score!

With all this talk about GTX 570s asploding and everything I was wondering if it would be worth it to step up to the GTX 580 for 150$ and gain those 2 extra VRMs and 32 CUDA cores?

Or are all these horror stories I'm seeing only because of the OCP removal?

Two of them assploded right out of the box, so it was kinda random.
