I'm contemplating upgrading this 470 and a 900mhz 580 would last me a very good long time.
Every card is different, but You have every chance of hitting that 900MHz.
BUt getting any advance of it, pretty minimal. Atleast comparing what I use now every day.
I have downvoltage from 1.083 to 1.050mV
And my card is 850MHz / memory 4200MHz.
At the moment, its been folding 16 hours, so full stress. And the temps are 70C with 72% fanspeed.
When gaming or normal use, maximum fanspeed is 69%.
So if you go to 900MHz for everyday use, You need to pump up your voltages, and keep fans faster.
EDIT: and forgot to put mine here also. Basicly very stable 920MHz for everything so far.
And maximum benching been 951MHz so far. (but that was already 1.150mV)Edited by Korak - 2/3/11 at 9:55pm
