But would it be worth it to SLI for 350$ or just get the single 580 for 150$ more?

How bad is the microstutter on SLI 570s @ 1080p?

Give me some reasons as to why it would be worth it. Obviously I get more FPS, but at the expense of more power and heat. But that's what I'm getting with my 570 anyway.

Any more reasons? How nasty do these things get at 900 core? And is that a safe gaming overclock? I don't fold so it won't be a 100% 24/7 load anyway.
You have a great card already. hold on to it and save up:

When/if I decide to go 590/595 or Kepler, I'll keep you in mind...I'll make sure you get a great price for my wc cards.

LOL!

It's definitely not a reference design GTX570. It doesn't have the reference cooler, and also uses a different PCB layout because it has a displayport and normal size HDMI.

Yeah I think I will. I might end up taking the plunge (see what I did there? ) and go watercooling for my CPU and GPU.

Then I might be able to squeeze another hundred mHz out of my 570. Right now without going max fan I can't seem to keep 900 stable.

Also has anyone had issues with Afterburner lowering fan speed by itself when you set it to 85% static?

So it won't SLI with a normal EVGA GTX 570 I guess..

I thought all that mattered was that the SLI fingers matched up in location.

This is news to me. Cause I was planning on getting a non reference card with a nice cooler for my top card if I planned to SLI.

It might, no idea. Don't trust me at all. Probably should've phrased it as a question.

So.. will it SLI? :O
