You really don't want to disable the over current on the GTX cards. I don't have time this morning but there are a lot of horror stories of people frying their cards. Pictures of burnt vram. Bummed out over clockers that went to far. It's the only thing protecting it. Instead of shutting down it let's it fry.
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. After work if anyone else doesn't chime in on the subject I will link those threads. A simple search of disable OVC, fried 570 or 580 will point your right to them.
Good luck if you should venture into that and keep in mind there is a risk your taking. If it fries you won't be covered by RMA because they will be able to tell and you voided your warranty.
