Not that it matters anyway, since I did the dumb thing and chose Ground shipping for my Step Up. Chances are, I won't see this card until the end of next week if I'm lucky. redface.gif

Yeah man same here. That's why I couldn't do Express shipping. frown.gif That 30$ would definitely get noticed. $15 is much lower than $45. Lol.

I wish EVGA allowed you to choose for shipping. I'd personally pay a few more dollars to get the card ASAP. My system will be down for as long as this Step Up takes.

I'm pretty sure one of the last options to choose in the Step Up process was what shipping method was preferred to have the card delivered to you. I didn't realize the process would take this long as I didn't have enough to pay for the Overnight shipping almost two weeks ago. Today would have been fine. Oh well. frown.gif

You don't have a temporary card to hold yourself over? Sounds like a trip to the local MC to me. biggrin.gif

Add me to the club please biggrin.gif

Moving on from a 5970, tired of bugged drivers. Used my rooms to go gift card to get a GTX 580 instead of a crappy 50" plasma...

Use your brain. Go to the NVIDIA website, put that you have a GTX 580, it will say 266.58. Next step, go back and put in that you have a GTX 570. It will say 266.58 as well. Both driver versions are the same. Both are the same size. They use the same driver. Not that hard.

It was a simple question that didn't require some rude comment. I knew they were the same drivers numerically but that still doesn't mean that it's made for the same card. Thanks for your help though.

I must have missed the option. I'd have taken any air service over UPS Ground. I'll be lucky if the thing comes in one piece from them. frown.gif

I was actually looking on Microcenters website and saw that the cheapest option under like $100 was a GT 430 for $80. Not worth it for a week's worth of use.

How far are you from Microcenter in Paterson?

Yup no problem. I'm in the same spot as you, stepping up to the 580. Although I still have my old ATI 5770. Will sell it after I get my new card. I just shipped out my 570 today. Will probably get the 580 on Monday or Tuesday since they said EVGA will get my 570 on Thursday.

You're lucky you still have a card to use. I sold my old 6870 last month. frown.gif
