What is killing me is the memorial day rebates on the evgas.... I only have 14 minutes to make the decision on those.
If your in the USA the AR has a lifetime warranty. The EVGA 015-P3-1580-AR GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 1536MB is a great choice if your monitor is 1920x1200 resolution 1080p. Having more VRM dosen't improve performance on this resolution.

Memorial day price $464.99 with $30 rebate from EVGA = $434.99 = great deal on GTX 580.

If your running two monitors or your monitor is 30" or larger than get the EVGA 03G-P3-1584-AR GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 3072MB. More VRM on larger monitors or greater resolution when running two monitors the 3Gb version will be better.

Good luck and update us when / if you make the choice and what you chose.

My scores with 875 core, 1750 shader and 2004 memory at 1075mV.

Im not sure if these are good but Ill post them up, for comparison, using 275 beta drivers.

3dMark Vantage - X26508
Heaven - 1458, AVG FPS 58.7
Crysis 2 - Avg over 10 minute gameplay 109

Cards are at 72c/67c under load and 38c/36c at idle.

Heya Mate,
Do you have the 1.5GB card or the 3GB card?

Also, I see that your sig says SLi... Is that dual SLi or Tri SLi?

Thanks for posting your settings! Gonna try it when I get home

1.5gb, dual sorry! Two EVGA GTX 580s 1.5gb have to fix that sometime.

My EVGA GTX 570 SC

I keep a modest gaming OC of 13% on air at 875 Core / 1111 Memory / 1750 Shader at 1.075v. I know the vanilla can reach that OC.
Yes the 580 SC will work with the vanilla card. It does not matter which card is located where, the bandwidth is split evenly between both cards. However, I would put the "better" card in the top slot because I'm ocd like that It also depends on the cooler, you want the crappy cooler on the bottom because you get better airflow/less heat in most cases.

I do that too, the best clocker in the first slot & so on.
I have a better 3dmark 11 score to put in with a single 580, with a bit more core speed. Did some hardmodding on it & going to be bios modding tonight, want to get more out of this card yet...

New cards will finally be here tomorrow! Can't wait to see how many mods I can load up in Crysis and GTA IV. I'll post some numbers once I've tested.
