Yeah, I decided to wait until the end of the month to see if I can hop on that Zotac deal. It's been chaos at work and I haven't been playing much of any games as is.
But it would still be nice to play Crysis 2 and what not at a full 60fps.
Come to think of it I did see more problems with my overclocks failing when trying to run SLI on the 275 drivers. Perhaps that's why I STILL can't run Vantage with my normal benching OC.
Hopefully the new drivers can help the voltage situation for the better. I'd really like to see what I get @ 900 core in Vantage. Strange that 3DMark 11 works fine. Metro 2033 bench reset my PC with no error codes the first time I tried it too though. Maybe the PSU isn't up to snuff.
Haha works crazy by me too man. It's this economy. Most people are hurting right now but our company is shipping more stuff now than ever before. We do contract work for military subcontractors so you can expect something as simple as a black oxide coated screw to cost the customer nearly $10 and just last month we made 80 shipments!
Maybe that's why I got a raise.
Now I'm having some heavy internal debates on whether to sidegrade to Sandy now to give my 580s more breathing room or just wait out SB-E or Ivy.
Damn internal conflicts of interest. I sure would love to have a BA 6 core unlocked processor but really would have no need for it. But I would also love to get a new case and a SB rig going.
