trust me, man, i don't like mac stuff anymore than the next person, but i was a 1st gen iTunes victim, and i've had it ever since. are there any solid PC alternatives? i guess i haven't done my homework to see what else is out there.

All is well here. Barely anything happened and all the flood waters have dried up in my area.

Hopefully everything is ok by you blackbalt - I heard there was a lot of flooding up around your neck of the woods.

Still have a major internal conflict on whether if it is a good idea to buy that third GTX 580. If it's not flooded around Microcenter on Wednesday, I think I will be taking that plunge finally.

TBH I would stick with itunes for playing music if that's what you've been using. It's simple and does a lot of conversion stuff that you have to get plug-ins and such for the others. itunes for music and VLC for video FTW.

By my house there was really very little drama. We even had power up until 2:30PM then when I was playing The Witcher 2 in a hectic battle against some squirrels the power shuts off.

Turns out the flood gates were opened from the reservoir and the Hackensack river ended up flooding out the power substation that was powering my half of town.

I just want my damn power back. I was fine until 2:30PM thinking that nothing was going to happen and boom, power out. I have school tomorrow and I have to result to coming to my friend's house to charge my laptop.

here is my 580.

Do I need to show the benchmark run to give stability proof? I ran a benchmark of heaven.

Gpu(s) won't budge any further without more voltage and the cpu is having troubles breaking 5.0, other then that, I'm quite satisfied with my scores:

Looking good especially for tri-sli. Do 580s go to 1.150, or did you flash them?

Stock max voltage on stock bios. Its possible to run them a bit more with modded bios but I'm not ready to take that risk
