There's only one AP-15 up there. I only have one AP-15 and I figured it would do better on the H100. It's pushing on the side where the tubes are to cool the incoming and outgoing water better.

Also you can use the faster fans on push to aid in pushing air through the rad.

I would have used all AP-15s if I had them but sadly they are hard to come by and I don't feel like paying $16 for shipping again. frown.gif

In total I have 5 AP-14s and one AP-15. I only got one AP-15 because I wanted it for push when I still had my NH-D14 and didn't want the louder AP-15s as case fans, which the AP-14s were for.

Yeah, they seem to sell out pretty often. I'm pretty lucky in that coolerguys.com is about a 45 minute drive, so usually just will call them, and the 2 times I've need to pick up ap15s they've had em in stock!

I ordered mine from Aquatuning. Which is in Germany.

Just noticed FrozenCPU has 891 in stock.

This setup is fine for me though.

I've spent enough on fans. :/

Testing my setup at 4.8GHz.

Wish me luck! I'm going to need it. The settings on the Maximus IV are downright confusing and half this crap I've never seen in the X58 BIOS but I'm just using someone else's settings as a baseline. Let's see if they work.

I've only got time for like 20 runs of IBT before I go to my girls house. Is that enough for short term stability? I'm going to Prime it for another 4 hours tomorrow if this passes. Can't do much more than that due to not wanting to leave this rig burning all night. :/

Thats such a sexy rig.

Now onto my SB OC!

This is only a preliminary stress test as I want to Prime it tomorrow but I only used IBT last time for my i7 950 OC and it never failed.

Temps were outstanding on the H100 for 1.425v.

Check out the sandybride overclocking guide in the Intel stickys section. That'll explain what alot of that stuff is.
Also in order to say Sandy is stable you really need to run IBT AVX Linux pack at max memory min of five passes. Then run prime for 10 hours. Then you can say its stable.

No doubt about it - even though we have very similar hardware, your's is WAY cleaner than mine.

Nice job!

I have to get a backplate myself too. Seems like the Microcenter Addicts Anonymous NJ chapter may need to do a group buy.
