I actually let it sit one time for about half an hour. I literally walked away to watch some TV, came back and it was still frozen at the same spot. As I mentioned above, I can get it to work if I downclock but this is really the only application that has given me any trouble. One day I'll chalk up the motivation to fix this.

Haha, I think I'm done spending money on the X58 platform. I've decided to start saving the pennies for a new platform some time next year, while putting the final touches on my watercooling for the remainder of this year. It's been such a money pit...
And that's exactly why I won't do a custom loop.

Have you tried reinstalling 3DMark 11?

High five! I'm sure it will be worth it once it's in though.

Haha, one day black, one day...

Yeah, I've tried reinstalling, upgrading the System Info thing, running as admin, setting the GPU count, running the tests manually, etc.

I'm actually going to try num1son's suggestion right now to end the Logitech programs. I don't have a G15, but I do have a G9 mouse and the Logitech Illuminated, which use those programs all the same.

Be back in a few minutes.

Too much work. :/ I like the simplicity of air and AIO kits.

It would be my luck to get the thing together, leak test w/ no failure, then have the CPU block leak ruining everything down stream of it.

Your HAF 932 should be able to swallow the RX360 Kit. If you fallow the instructions to the tee and triple check everything, you shouldn't any issues and temps far better than air

Agreed.

It gets much easier once you get past the timid beginning stages. After a few times, you may even spring a leak on some of your components during leak testing, but you'll quickly find that once you properly dry off everything it will power back on without any problems.

My heart sank the first time I accidentally yanked a hose off while fixing and adjusting my loop. Thankfully I did knock it loose though, or else I might not have noticed it if it came undone on its own over time. Now, I give a good tug on each tube just to make sure its on tight and so far so good.

Unrelated note: I tried num1son's suggestion of turning off the Logitech software, reverted to 4.0GHz, and even went down to stock clocks, but the Combined Test still freezes. So it seems like some sort of software issue after all.

I guess I'll just wait until I pick up an SSD and do a format to re-run this benchmark.

You should be running MSI Afterburner Utility Software to keep tabs and also set your own manual fan settings as well as over clock your GPU.

Are you running your own manual fan settings?

pezcore - EVGA GTX570 @ 850 MHz

Validation - http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/bc6nu/
3DMark11 - http://3dmark.com/3dm11/1853229

Coming from a GTX295, I am loving these temps. Card idles in the high 40's/low 50's and stays pretty quiet
