what do you guy's consider a high gamin temp?
Card msi 560 ti (twin Frozer ll)stock and at oc 950 / 2200 , I have some peaks of 80
when I look at the temp after a bench in Heaven ore a round in crysis2.

I have had a hard time get the machine stable after I built it. Changin ram from xms3 to vengeance, and running it at 1333 at 10 11 10 27 2t it helped. But I do have some random freez from time to time, ore it just drops out of a game.

Did you all have this crashes in BF3 too?

I mean i could play operation metro for hours without problem, but on caspian, i got this ocassional crash: Picture stands still, sound stops after 1-2 sec, and i have to kill bf3.exe from task manager. No error msg whatsoever.

Sometimes i could play 5 rounds on caspian, sometimes crash right after deploy.

Btw, the GTX570 Phantom does very well. 50-70 fps on 1920x1200 max, and never goes over 70°C.

Yep, sure did. Got my machine somewhat stable, and then thought. lets test
BF3, so I did, beta nvidia drivers and the whole shabang. And I got like 3 minut's of gameplay, and it froze on me with this insaine sound in my headphones. Tried again the next day, and same thing. And then world of tanks started to act up on me to, and that's not a very taxing game on the system. So I just removed bf3 and rolled back to the nvidia drivers that came with the card.(260,77 i belive) But I still have the once in a while freeze, and I'm on the latest nvidia driver now.280,26

I never installed the betas, was sticking with the latest WHQL. I heard that the beta has even more problems in other games too.

Don't use a beta game to do any sort of testing. It's not stable as a test bed so you can't base anything on that.

Did you try pushing your gpus a bit more? Again as I mentioned in your build log, try for 950 and I'm sure you can break 17K. I'm @ 17023 as my personal best. Good luck.

Here is my OC method.. using.. Unigine 2.5 Benchmark run.
1920x1080 DirectX10, AN16, AA8x, fullscreen, w/vsync
STOCK: 950Mhz, 1.050mV
mV FPS SCORE MIN MAX
950 +0 27.2 686 14.9 61.3
970 +0 27.4 687 14.9 61.5
1010 +0 27.6 695 14.9 61.6
1020 +6 27.6 696 14.9 61.4
1030 +25 27.7 697 14.9 61.4
1035 +31 27.7 698 14.9 61.0
1040 +37 CRASH
1040 +43 CRASH
1040 +50 27.7 697 14.9 61.2
1040 +56 CRASH
1040 +62 CRASH
1040 +68 CRASH
1045 +75 CRASH
1045 +80 CRASH

So does that mean that my chip is limited to 1035? My temps are ok @ 85c. tested my card @95c and no errors so it's not the temp.
