hmmm... interesting... no more crash after removing the 9800GT? Why does the crash only happen at higher clocks of my GPU? They go together (9800GT as dedicated physx) w/o errors when I use my 560 @1000Mhz and below.

So after removing the 9800 deticated physx card everything worked where before it did not?

Was it crashing with the 9800 above 1000Mhz core only?

Was it crashing below 1000mhz core with the 9800?

FYI, i'm not OCing my 9800gt, it operates at stock for dedicated physx.
Before I removed the 9800GT, my HAWK is ok at 1015Mhz and below. Crashes when I hit 1020Mhz. But when I removed my 9800gt, I was able to attain stability up to 1025Mhz @1.112v.

Maybe they are just not compatible at higher clocks? or the powersupply can't handle anymore the increased voltage?

I see. If your not getting much more FPS with the deticated card I'd leave it out. The higher OC with your 9800 may be causing the instability.

I'd test it at 1000Mhz core with 9800 - check your FPS.
I'd test it at 1025Mhz core without 9800 - check your FPS.

Then decide from there. Personally I'd go with the lower clock/voltage with 9800 combo if it yeilds the better game play. Less stress on the 560Ti to boot, not as heavily over clocked.

I figured it had something to do with the combo and your clocks. Can't tell you as the 'why' yet.

Here is the score using MSI Kombustor Extreme Profile Benchmark.

SINGLE GPU(560 HAWK only)
Graphics score: 2114 points (36 FPS)
PhysX score: 3598 points (102 FPS, 199 SPS, GPU PhysX)
Combined score: 1982 points (12 FPS, 102 SPS)

(GPU1 + GPU2 DEDICATED PHYSX)
Graphics score: 2096 points (35 FPS)
PhysX score: 2981 points (172 FPS, 143 SPS, GPU PhysX)
Combined score: 1808 points (18 FPS, 78 SPS)

Hmm.. so is my 9800GT worth it?

I'd say more trouble than it's worth. Less and less games are using Physx. Just being an Nvidia card handles it better where it is available IMO.

Pull it out and start putting back some cash and SLI that 560Ti

unfortunately, I can't SLI 560Ti... because, my mobo is limited.. my other PCI-E x16 slot only runs at 4x instead of full 16x. too bad...

Btw, OC is stable at 1040Mhz 1.15v(MAX) temps at 88c in Heaven. kinda hot ei?
