Vmem= video card memory
Dom with a single 1920x1080p monitor the difference between 1.5GB vs 3.0GB is marginally 1-3 FPS gaming or benching. You aren't going to use 3GB VRAM with single 1920x1080p 120Hz monitor of your specs. Waste of money.
Even BF3 with the memory leak bug it's not effecting performance on my GTX 580 1.5GB card and the 3GB isn't doing better than mine. You won't gain higher benchmarks with a 3GB vs 1.5GB card either.
You'll only feel VRAM in Surround or Eyefinity where graphics rendering is being spread across all three monitors. At that point VRAM is king. 3GB is better than 2GB performance and anything less chokes.
Still up to you if you want 3GB but not going to give you any edge over the 1.5GB Vram option.
