Hey bud, stay in touch. You are a great asset to the club threads. Hope all is well at home. I saw your post on selling your cards in the sales section.

Im sure it wasn't easy but I'd have done the same. See you in the Mechanical Keyboard thread. I've been quietly reading that thread as I learn about them.

See you around. smile.gif

Hey thanks a lot man I really appreciate it. Everything is great actually I just wanted some cash to play with and wasn't really gaming much. Just got these 460's up and running and my score is 3dmark11 is a tad bit better then my 580.

BF3 at high with vsync on is like butter. I can't complain biggrin.gif

Worked on my 580&570 smile.gif

Dom that's a sweet find. Amazing two different Nvidia cards can actually be SLI'd together. Only bummer is the perfomance isn't cumulative.

So when you ran the 580 & 570 your bench was that of two 570 scores? Can you post that 3DMark11 score? All this time and we didn't think this was even possible.

From what I gathers is the shaders need to be equal for it to work? Those the limitations?

Possible for an older gen card to be SLI'd with new gen and act as one? Other factor it's limited to the weakest specs of the two?

His CPU is holding him back. His graphic score is 8679. Combined that AMD chip is killing his score.

Be kind now.

Um, do you realise you never post quite the right info to get listed?

Your original post was Cpuz rather than Gpuz, and this 3Dm score has no Gpuz or Afterburner with it to show clockspeeds. A proper 3DMk URL would carry enough info too. Of course if you did not want to be listed, it does not matter...

If you would like to be listed info on requirements are in the very first post of the thread.

Shame about the cpu holding that back.

With a i7-950 I've had 8490 out of 2 Palit GTX 460 Sonic Platinums in SLI.
