I am in the middle of updating my case n everything but I did just get a EVGA GTX 580 1536 from a friend $200.00 :) Add me plz. I have not done any overclocking yet.

Right on 4LC4PON3 congratulations on your GTX 580 I know it's been a long time coming.

If your default is 1.0880mV and you can set that puppy to 900 Core clock 2075 Memory. I ran my GTX 580 with those specifications 24/7 for eight months and prior to that for five months I had it at 875 Core clock set with default voltage 1.0880mV. Never needed a gaming profile. Set the OC and forgot about it.

Simple set up, no gaming issues for last 13 months. Problem free.

Still running strong and will be going into my kids system im handing down to them. I'm building a main for myself with an IVY bridge CPU / Z77 Sabertooth, new GTX 680SC built around PCI E3 .0 capable should tech catch up to hardware.

The 580 still eats many games for breakfast and can handle Crysis or 2 & BF3 in Ultra mode.

Family enjoys watching 3D Vision movies and I like the gaming in campaigns in 3D.

Enjoy and post back once you find the top clocks.

Depends on your monitor setup. I have no issues with SLI 580s on the 296.10 drivers on a single monitor. Triple monitor though, you better use with no newer than 290.53.

It's never "everyone", like lucky me having no problems with three monitors and 296.10....where in the past I've been unlucky with some drivers being not quite right for me....
