Just a quick question. For guys playing Starcraft 2 running on 580s SLI, what GPU usage do you get on both cards? I'm experiencing really low gpu usage when playing SC2 around 30%-40% on both cards. Dont know if this is a driver issue or what. thanks!

Pretty sure with every RTS game it's mostly CPU.

Finally ordered up the second evga backplate and the 'powerboost' cable.

I guess we'll see if I use them or end up 'stepping up' to a different set of cards...

Picked up a 2nd GTX 580 this weekend. Not sure if I will go SLI or give it to my GF. I would need a new PSU.. Current one is running at stock ASUS clocks. 782Mhz

Thanks for that. I did not know they had a search function. Only one other person with a GTX 570 and a Phenom II 920 in the whole results database lol .

My score is actually the highest of all Phenom II 920 and 940's with a GTX 570. I feel special.

This is with my highest oc thats 15min OCCT stable. I usually use 800/1600/2100 @ 0.975v for 99% of games since they run pretty much maxed. I have 2 other oc profiles set 850/1700/2100 @ 1.013v and 900/1800/2100 @ 1.050v.

Go sli Im also thinking of buying one more Asus gtx 580.. But have you tried overclocking your card.. Because i cant go past 875mhz also with higher voltage.. And you also have a Asus card so thats why i ask. I probably wont oc it, but just for fun you know. It can be my motherboard but its brand new and its also a good one..

I overclocked mine to 850 with no voltage for a 24 hour period with no problems, BUT that was only for folding. I didn't try any higher but hopefully this weekend i'll be able to play around with it.

Yeah I want to go SLI but i'm thinking of going with Sandy Bridge. That means I would need 4-5 slots for all my cards. (2x580, 450, sound card, maybe NIC). I should be picking up a 1000-1200 watt PSU soon tho but I would also have to get another back up battery since mine is only rated up to 800 watts. Not really sure if it's worth around $1000 to just go SLI
