Depends whats your fanspeed is? And cause of the load? what you running.

But sounds very good to me.

pair of 570 vanilla's, best cards I have ever owned. much quieter and cooler than the 470's I had. Evga step-up FTW!

So I just tried to OC my 570 to 900/1800/2000 @ 1.1v and ended up pulling errors in GPUtool after 8 minutes.

Temps maxed at 72 with the 1% fan per 1*c fan profile.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can manage to make 900 work?

Also will I push past 750w if I SLI these 570s at stock clocks with my sig rig?

1.175 seemed to be a sweet spot for mine. anything beyond that doesn't scale well for me, although my temps are about 10c idle and 40c load on air.

Crap. So there's no way to do it without a modded BIOS? I don't feel like trying it because with my luck I'll brick the card. Lol.

1.175v seems like a lot for 900 core. My ambient temp is 15c, and the card idles at 28c.

I know for a fact 850 is stable because that's what I play Metro at. And that overclock passed GPUtool render test for 20 minutes with a max temp of 65.

Is it even worth it to squeeze another 50 mhz?

squeezing another 50 out of it isn't gonna change much in real world or gaming. benching on the other hand ya maybe. the flashing of the card was kinda simple, all done within windows in cmd.

the 1.175 mine likes is around 975+ core. at around 900 i really only needed 1.100 +/-

Well that's the thing. 1.1v didn't work for longer than 8 minutes.

I know that setting higher memory didn't really help other people so I set it to 2000mhz and linked core and shader at 900/1800 but it just wasn't stable.

Could it be that ~75*c was getting too toasty for the card?! Maybe I should set it so that it's at 80% fan? I'd rather not since that starts getting a bit loud even with my headphones on. Lol.
