Windows 7 Ultimate Crashing at Startup - Page 2

After you enabled turbo boost did you do a stress test on your cpu and ram to be sure it was stable?

Just because the motherboard gives you a program to boost performance doesn't mean its always going to be stable.

Did you update recently. One of the updates that were optional in Win7 kept crashing my system anywhere from instantly to 5 minutes after startup. Eventually I found which update caused the problem and uninstalled it within 2 minutes and I haven't had any problems since. I'll look for my post and link it here...might help ya.

Turbo Boost is in the BIOS, a setting for the Processor. It is has been on since I installed the CPU. I have ran Prime 95, other stress programs and it has been fine.

I shall try that, I usually install every update that comes from Windows... Unless I don't need it.

Did this start happening after you used the Logitech keyboard or have you had it from the start?
