Some suggestions NEEDED!!

Ok so if you look at my sig rig its a bit outdated, but i have no problem with it and i love my rig!! The only problem is that i have recived most of my gifts for X-mas and i dont expect my brother to spend $800 in computer parts out of no where. So my thaought is to keep this for another year. I dont think SandyBridge or Bulldozer will satisify me. What should i do?
  1. Buy 2 more Gigs of ram and wait till next year
  2. Upgrade to 1366 on my B-Day(June 3rd)
  3. Upgrade to 1155 on my B-Day
  4. Upgrade to 2011 on my B-Day
  5. Stay with what i have and wait just a little longer (2 years?)
  6. upgrade to a 955 and get new ram and mobo.
What do you guys think?

just to clear this up, you're willing to wait another 2 years to upgrade?? In my opinion, it's gonna be hard to upgrade just one piece at a time, I personally would probably wait until after the holidays, and look for some deals and pick up a CPU/mobo/RAM, then go from there

Get a used 955, 4gb's of ram, and new GPU and you should be good for a long time.

how much would a 955,Mobo,Ram cost me?? If i got a used 955...I dont want to throw a 955 in my current mobo because it is native am2/am2+ but there are bios updates that i can install to make the 955 work

the biostar motherboard will be fine. Its a good board.

the rest looks like it will be a helluva an upgrade.
