I got the Droid 2, NEED a keyboard so it was sort of a no brainer at the store lol. Any advice on must have apps? I want the flashlight app but I cant seem to find the right one, just ones that makes the screen bright not the light on the back shine bright. Also, how do you uninstall a program after you installed it?

I would go with Droid2 or Pro, I like keyboards (Droid 2 is better of the two.)

Droid X is slightly too big for me, I hate that whole "cargo container" feeling in my pocket. If I am walking around the office looking erect, its just going to not go over well.

About the Apps:
SetCPU lets you overclock (once rooted.)
ROM Manager lets you change your theme/kernel/cool stuff (once rooted.)
AngryBirds is a fun game!
My Verizon Mobile <= Pay the new billz

psx4Droid = Playstation Emulator on phone (I have FF7 running on mine.)
ACT II Cinema Now = Great Movie Player
Tapatalk Pro = Getting on OCN forums and post with the phone real quick.
QuickOffice = Reading MS Office documents (pay to edit them.)
Terminal once you are rooted, you needs ones to feel cool and like you know linux.

I don't know but i did infact go to get a droid 2 at Verizon yesterday and the rep told me droid 2 are on recall.So i left it at that.

I use VLingo alot, really nice hands free app, along with Handcent. I am rooted and also have setCPU, rom manager, etc.

Anybody have a link to a guide for rooting Droid 2? And they really on recall? The only issue I've had is once it wouldn't wake up and I had to pull the battery.

the droid 2 "recall" wasn't cause of a flaw
it was recalled because they didn't want extra stock lying around with Droid 2 Globals around.
