does your monitor actually support that resolution? my 22" can only do 1680x1050 but I know others can.

there is a 1/2" gap around the edges of the screen, the monitor should support it any ideas.

the only resolution i can get to fill the screen is 1680x1050, and it looks kinda stretched horizontally.

Try this, if it doesn't work, Linustechtips from a youtube channel had this same problem. He fixed it by unplugging the monitor for 1 hour and plugging it into a new outlet.

I would strongly recomend you download these http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles...12ahotfix.aspx , the 10.12a driver which is currently the most current driver supporting your card. It may give you a nice performance boost over 10.12s
