Sound card. Get a Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatality Pro - they're awesome.

Alternatively, get an SSD, or some decent headphones.

Why people keep suggesting an SSD i'm not really sure. He clearly already has one of those. Although for slightly more performance you could get two SSDs and raid them together.

On the sound Card Issue, i've never been able to understand why people go all out on a sound card. Wow 7 channels!! How many people have speakers that will actually hook to that sound card? I prefer to just go with digital sound out to a surround sound receiver!

I would say that unless you want to spend more than $150 and get a quality surround sound system that a water cooling loop would be your best bet. Then you can overclock the crap out of that i7..
Finally an i7
