I've never touched voltage on mine but I don't even know what it's running on. I'm at 850/1700 but I know I'm not at its peak yet.

Just wondering...are these just highest stable overclocks, or are these oc's something you use everyday?

For me I use my OC for gaming, when not I just reset it. I have it saved on a profile in MSI afterburner. I have a higher setting that I use for benchmarking though, 1.1v 950/2100.

Good good I think a dedicated 460 keeps up as a Physx but anything less than that is a no go. I read this a while a go, so I could be thinking of it in relation to a 580 either way with these overclocks there's little difference

Which is a good stress software that doesnt kill the card? Furmark or Heaven? What clock should i aim for to play BF3 on ultra? i also dont plan to go beyond 1.025v, at stock its 975mv so i hope there is room for OC without making vrm cry. And with stock cooling barely doing it, rather not have it go wild.

My card that runs at 1.025 stock only went to 865 at 1.100v, its very slow compared to my other 2 that will run 900 all day at 1.055v and 950 at 1.100v. I think the card my be failing as well because it squeals like a stuck pig, not to happy with that one.

Ill give 3dmark11 a go when I get a little more free time. With work, a sick child, and me coming down with something Im spread all over the place! Only reason its in there is because I had it laying around!!

Hrm...Interesting. I've also noticed that starting up 3dmark 11 causes an extremely LOUD whine noise that fades away during the benchmark. And i'll try 865 and see if any games crash.

Here's a sound file of it @ 100% fan speed during 3dmark11 http://www.mediafire.com/?cx956i5x940crkc

Don't worry about it too much, I'm not that interested in the figures. Just thought you might like to increase the performance

Hope you guys get better soon

Mine does the exact same thing, a noisy coil or something. Its pretty irritating to be honest.
