Myne will run 875 on its stock voltage of .950 and my 950 is just over +.1 so 1.060 maybe. 975 is 1.1v for me.

Which GTX 570's have upgraded vrms? Besides the msi twin frozr iii, asus dcii and gigabyte super overclock are there any others?

MY 570 finishes heaven at my sig speeds on air. Is it because the monitor was 1440x900 ?? I knew my 570 was good, but maybe it is a great chip!

Yes I have to modify and flash the BIOS. Easy when you've worked it out.

Also what is the highest temp a 570 should go to when overclocking? not over 80?
I ran a couple quick tests again when I got home. I will test on a 1080P monitor soon.

Crysis 2 Benchmark. DX11 patch + High Res Textures Patch @ 1280x1024.

Reference 732/1464 and 1900 ram (-50mV) - 72.2 Avg FPS
Overclock 975/1950 and 2100 ram (+150mV) - 86.8

Difference 14.6 fps though the monitor isnt what most people are using. For 975 I am running at 1.1V. The difference in frames is 20% its not huge but 20% in the low end is still nice.

Overall Testing so far:
Quote:
Reference 732/1464 and 1900 ram (-50mV) - 72.2 Avg FPS
My Stock 770/1540 and 2000 ram ----------- 75.7 Avg FPS
Ref + 100 832/1664 and 2000 ram ----------- 78.9 Avg FPS
Overclock 950/1900 and 2000 ram (+118mV) - 85.2 Avg FPS
Overclock 975/1950 and 2100 ram (+150mV) - 86.8 Avg FPS
My next test is something different. The theory of what would happen if we doubled our clock speed? SO we have to halve it instead lol.
Quote:
Theory 1 475/950 and 2000 ram ----------- 51.7 Avg FPS
Overclock 950/1900 and 2000 ram (+118mV) - 85.2 Avg FPS
Under that idea we gain 33.5 FPS in a doubling of theory cards core speed. 64.7% increase in frames.

So my Gigabyte SOC has updated VRMs? Is this definitely the case as I was previously advised to swap it for a MSI TFiii or Asus DCii because they had updated VRMs.

Just got card #4 back from RMA. I'm afraid to overclock it... but it's too slow stock. Dammit!
