Hmm. I get 875/1750/2000 on 1075mv and it passes 3dMark11 Performance and Kombustor benchmarks. If I bump to 900/1800/2000 on 1075mv I pass 3dMark11 Performance but it locked in test 3 on Kombustor.

I am thinking it needs more voltage. With my fan profile I don't get higher than 69-70 playing BF3, so I have some headroom. I just don't want to go to 1100mv because I have been told to stay under it.

It's a EVGA 570 SC. I really want to run 24/7 900/1800/2000 but I'm guessing without 1100mv I may be stuck. Does this sound right?
I have been running 1088 920/1840/2100 for a few days without issues on BF3 maxed and Skyrim w/ Ambient Occlusion tweaks. With a custom fan profile made to be a tad quieter than full 85% fan speed I hit mid 70's in each game. I can get 935 core at 1100, but I don't think it's worth it for next to no increase in performance trading off with a more dangerous OC, imo.

Alrighty, finally got around to downloading the latest beta release, and would you know I can now adjust the voltage !

I have been testing with OCCT for a while now with no errors.

Gigabyte gtx570 Windforce
Core: 900
Memory: 2000
Voltage: 1.038v

Not sure if im gonna go any higher with the voltage, going to run some more stress testing since 1.025v gave a few errors.

for low voltage you do have a great oc on this card, lets try push it more and see what it take, on mine first card i have 962 @ 1.1 v you should hit more with little more voltage.

Has anyone thought of updating the 570 PCB to 580 VRM configuration? (reference) Are there a lot of parts missing on the 570 pcb or think it is doable to find the missing parts and get them installed.

hi guys, i've never OCed a GPU before, but i soon plan to. i have a quick question about the memory clock.

i notice that just about all of the posts have a mem clock around 2000. but according the newegg, the stock mem clock on an EVGA GTX 570 is 3800. is newegg wrong, or are people intentionally underclocking memory to try and achieve higher core clock?

thanks!

*edit* ok, i think i see. the effective clock is basically double the setting we input, is that right? so 1900 mem clock (effective 3800hz)? so 2000 mem clock (effective 4000hz)?

Its actually neither if you look all the way into it. GDDR5 is a quad data rate memory (despite being DDR...***) AMD cards you will notice in afterburner show something like 1325 versus our 1900 or 2000. They are not slower they read actual speed and nvidia seems to like to read double data rate speeds.

Effective speed is 4 times actual or in the case of our cards 2 times whats reported. So yeah 3800 is 1900 in afterburner which is reference. With a little voltage increase I am at 2300 stable but only combined with an overall core overclock do you really get to see the difference. 2100 or 2200 might be a bit more common.

I am redoing my GTX 570 1080p test video and i ran some "same path" runs on several maps and you see about a 10 fps difference from reference to 950 core 2300 memory. Similarly consistent with some testing ive done in crysis 2.
