GTX 570 overclocking thread - Page 157

I managed to pull 925 core on heaven completely stable for over an hour. Played Battlefield 3 for an hour perfectly fine. Ran OCCT for 2 hours and got 19 errors though. My voltage is at 1.088. Never saw temperatures over 73C at 75% fan speed. Think 1.1V would stabilize it in OCCT?

That or 1113mv. You got a good card, mine has the cooling for 1125mv and 60c or less while gaming in a warm room (75-78F) but wont do more than 900mhz stable on 1125 lol. I can do 925mhz but only in the metro level of bf3 it will crash, 915mhz plays about an hour before crashing, 900mhz perfect.

I just did a 1 hour run in OCCT at 1.1 and zero errors. Ran at 69-70C the entire time at 75% fan speed. I'm happy with that. It seems as if I've lucked out and gotten all good components on my PC build. Never happens to me.

m3drvr, what program are you using to save gpu voltage? I am using EVGA precision and voltage goes back to stock every time I restart windows... its really annoying
post #1565 of 2146
Thats what i use, but i never restart my computer. Not really an issue to me. Although i'll be re installing windows either today or tomorrow so i'll have to then. I use E-leet as well and i believe that does save it. But i know precision doesn't.

There is probably an option to load overclock on boot. msi afterburner I believe does that but I wouldnt want it to occure that way anyways

Been overclocking my new MSI GTX570 Frozr III OC/PE and have managed to achieve the following:

940Mhz - 1.087V
2050Mhz - Stock Voltage

I can reach 2350Mhz on +20mv with the memory but things seem to look smoother with it set at 2050Mhz.

Heaven 2.1 will give me better results using the memory at 2350 with clock of 940 but 3D Mark shows better results setting the memory clock at 2050Mhz

What will be better in real usuage? 2350Mhz or 2050Mhz?

Cheers guys

940mhz @ 1.088v is pretty damn good. What are the temps like? And, if temps permit, what can you hit at 1.1v?

Can't get it stable at 950mhz with 1.12 and kinda reluctant to put any more volts on it... temp never goes above 62 degrees and it's running under default fan profile.

Just like my 2600k I can't get that stable at 4.8ghz but it works at treat at 4.7 with 1.38v

what do you guys think its at 1.05v and temps stay around 67-72c
