I know this has nothing to do with overclocking our 570's...

I'm just wondering if anyone here with BC2 can go on the Oasis map, on the lake side especially and look at the palm tree leaves and some of the taller bushes. Do some of the leaves look transparent with lines or dots?

I started a thread here: http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/898127-strange-textures-bc2.html about it. Theres a screenshot of what I'm talking about.

Thanks.

Hey, sorry I'm new to this and have never flashed a card before. I was wondering if someone could perhaps explain it or link me to a good guide that's up to date on how to flash the BIOS.

Thanks.

You don't have to flash your card to achieve an overclock.
There's lots of software out there (MSI Afterburner for instance) that lets you overclock without having to flash your BIOS, and therefore with much fewer risks.

Flashing is only if you want the OC to be permanent. If you are set on wanting to flash your BIOS, here's a guide that covers most of it:

MrTOOSHORT what drivers are you running? It's either drivers or your memory speed compared to mine that has your GPU score in Vantage higher than mine, trying to figure it out =P Im jealous. Here are my results so far, I believe it is stable at lower voltages so i'm working on reducing it as of now. P.S. Low temps are due to EK water block =)

CPU is holding your card back my friend..
Im in the same boat look at my runs at 1 ghz on my 570...

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.. A hefty overclock on your cpu should help quite a bit tho thumb.gif

I realize the Q6600 is a bit older now but its running at 3.8Ghz... you think its holding the GPU score in Vantage back?

Thread Starter
So I was watching some youtube videos earlier, and my screen turned into a giant ball of artifacting for a sec, then everything was fine. Loading BC2 a bit later and the same thing happened. Turns out any ram clock over 2000 results in instant artifacting all over the entire screen. Even 2000 seems iffy. It was fine at 2300 since I got the card until today baaasmiley.gif Really thinking I should have stuck with ATI and their horrendous drivers. Was || far from clicking order on a 3d vision kit but now I'm having second thoughts.

update: even 1950 artifacted. I set 1900 and even that artifacted. Reset core clock and it was fine. Went back to 850 core and no artifacting. Regardless, I'm pissed. Once again I have a garbage video card.
