I just finished playing around with my card as well

Bench and readings

Haven't checked the absolute stability with OCCT yet.

Please read replies. You never know when you might learn something instead of wasting money on a new PSU.

So yea ... going from 30 to 15 fps is normal when your graphics card has to handle more than twice the pixels.

I ended up having to lower my clock from 875 to 820, and it's much more stable in minecraft. And I was also unstable in another game, so it's not just a problem with minecraft like I thought.

Does it seem strange that gpu intensive tests would not reveal instability but a game like minecraft would?

Maybe Minecraft's simplicity is accessing a feature in the driver that's not utilized in the common FPS games. If there's any truth to that, perhaps a driver update will address the issue. Also, possibly going back a few driver revisions could solve it, too. You'll have to experiment.

while i don't play minecraft, i also just lowered my OC due to stability issues in games that i play. in this case, Darksiders. dropped it from 875 to 850. seems good so far. took the opportunity to drop my voltage to match. =) it's still more than good enough for me. =)

Wait, MSI Afterburner can be used with my ASUS card? And if it can, is it better than the ASUS equivilent?

Will be uninstalling the Asus software and replacing with MSI. Should be fun to play with.

Just did a little more OCing on my Gigabyte 570 SoC, and came up with this.

950/1900/4450 @ 1.075v temps maxed out at 68c while benching both Unigine and 3DMark. Going to do some OCCT Error checking now to see if anything comes up.

Here's the link the 3DMark; http://3dmark.com/3dm11/2799288
